Hello, My Name is Julie Beach
I am the founder of Jubilee Farm, a small farm that is doing big things in Michigan. In 2013 we started with a herd of four Mini Silky Fainting Goats, through the years the herd grew to over twenty. As the farm grew, I expanded to incorporate a second passion; teaching young people about agriculture. Now some of the highlights on the farm, beyond the goats, are the Ag Center, a nature center, an arboretum, and the Innovation Station, transforming Jubilee Farm into a dynamic hub for lifelong learning. Jubilee Farm is fully licensed and reaches students year around with real-world agriculture learning adventures.

DEEP ROOTS
My family has been a part of the agricultural industry in this community for 164 years. Their dedication and hard work helped feed this community and our country. Jubilee Farm was built on the foundation of five generations of farmers. To carry the torch of feeding, clothing, and fueling the world forward, future generations must develop agricultural literacy. The study of agriculture is imperative to the health of the planet and its people, because it clearly shows how taking care of water and land sustains the livelihood of farming and life itself. The values of those who farmed before me form the pillars of learning at Jubilee Farm’s Ag Collective.
